High Resolution Tiling Mosaic Tile Courtyard Textures 2048 Pixels

I love these (If I do say so myself! lol)

They're made from photo stock of smooth ceramic tile patterns which I have transformed into 2048 x 2048 pixel, tiling Mosaic courtyard textures.

As far as I am aware, there are not too many high resolution textures of Mosaic because taking a photo of an actual Greek or Mediterranean Mosaic floor is not too easy.

First, you have the issue of people usually standing on it.
Then you need to be positioned high above it, perhaps on a balcony (Which would cast a shadow)
Failing that, a very high ladder and a steady hand.

Plus, you would need a wide angled lens to be able to get each corner in one photo.

You could take several shots and piece them together but trust me, I have tried that and it's hard as the light source varies from one angle to another and then you have to "Photoshop" the light gradients out using something like the High Pass filter, which is great but not always reliable.

Of course most real Mosaic tile floors are broken and worn away with age and natural weathering which is sometimes a nice feature to have but again,  causes a massive amount of post editing when you come to make them seamless.

Therefor, there are almost no photo realistic texture resources of this genre so I am extra pleased to have managed to create them at such a high resolution of 2048 Pixels.

You can't really see the level of detail in the promo image above so here's a full sized sample:

They can be purchased for use within Second Life for 450 Linden Dollars by clicking this SLurl

They will also be available from the SL Marketplace.

For use outside of Second Life such as other grids and virtual worlds like, and,  you can purchase them under the Any World license direct from the TRU Textures website.

For use in projects not related to virtual worlds, (2D and 3D artwork, game development etc) they're also available under the Extended License for around $6.99 from TRU Textures and

Fantasy Game Textures - Work In Progress

I have a good customer from who is big into creating fantasy buildings and fashion over there.

Anyways, long story short, I saw a photo of a house on her FaceBook profile page which inspired me to finally get back into 3D game texture creation (Technically 2D but they look 3D etc etc etc)

Its taken me an age to get my "creative mojo" back after dancing to the beat of some-one elses drum (Freelance game texture work for a WW2 flight sim game) for so long now.

I can make to order fairly well now but it does knock you out of your own creative thought process some what.

Anyway, I have 89 textures already made and I am only just starting to warm up and have fun with the collection.

It's gonna be a big one!

Wood Box/Crate Textures With Normal Maps

I made these eons ago, they took an age to render so anyway, I decided to pack them up and get them up for display.

I need to think up a better cover sheet because this one sucks! lol

Anyways, there are 25 Diffuse (coloured) textures which include plain wood boxes with and without the side bar and with and without various packaging stickers and labels.

There are also Normal maps for all of the plain box textures.

They can be purchased for direct download from TRU Textures website under various commercial licenses.
