Eminem - Love The Way You Lie ft. Rihanna

I heard this and watched the video for the first time the other day.

One word, classic.

I absolutely and totally love this track. The lyrics, the music and the video is mind blowing in terms of the acting. (How beautiful is Megan Fox?! bitch! lol )

The male actor, is Dominic Monaghan who has been in a number of dramas and movies and his character portrayal in this video is faultless and played to perfection.

Eminem, as always glues it all together with his unique and immediately identifiable MC'ing making what could have been yet another predictable R&B song from Rihanna into what has got to be one of his best songs to date.

Not being a fan of Rihanna, for me at least, any female vocalist who could hold a tune could have stood in her place and it would still be a hit.

The video is just as powerful as the lyrics and song to me and maybe because I can relate.

I am one of those women that loves a bad boy, the more they hurt you the more you love them.

I have had love/hate relationships and stayed with them when friends "gave up" on repeating the obvious.

I am older and wiser now and I couldn't stand the stress but who hasn't loved an arrogant, cheating, violent pig at least once in their lives?

[Chorus - Rihanna]
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
That's all right because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
That's all right because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie

[Eminem - Verse 1]
I can't tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like
And right now it's a steel knife in my windpipe
I can't breathe but I still fight while I can fight
As long as the wrong feels right it's like I'm in flight
High off her love, drunk from my hate, it's like I'm huffin' paint
And I love it the more I suffer, I suffocate
And right before I'm about to drown, she resuscitates me, she fckkin' hates me
And I love it, "wait, where you goin'?"
"I'm leavin' you," "no you ain't come back"
We're runnin' right back, here we go again
It's So insane, cause when it's goin' good it's goin' great
I'm superman with the wind at his back, she's Lois Lane
But when it's bad it's awful, I feel so ashamed I snap
Whose that dude? I don't even know his name
I laid hands on her
I'll never stoop so low again
I guess I don't know my own strength

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
Well that's all right because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
Well that's all right because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie

[Eminem - Verse 2]
You ever love somebody so much you can barely breathe
When you with em you meet and neither one of you even know what hit em
Got that warm fuzzy feeling
Yeah them chills used to get em
Now you're getting fuckin' sick of lookin' at em
You swore you'd never hit em, never do nothin' to hurt em
Now you're in each other's face spewin' venom in your words when you spit em
You push pull each other's hair
Scratch claw hit em throw em down pin em
So lost in the moments when you're in em
It's the rage that's the culprit, controls you both
So they say it's best to go your seperate ways
Guess that they don't know ya
Cause today that was yesterday
Yesterday is over, it's a different day
Sound like broken records playin' over
But you promised her next time you'll show restraint
You don't get another chance
Life is no nintendo game, but you lied again
Now you get to watch her leave out the window
Guess that's why they call it window pane

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
Well that's all right because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
Well that's all right because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie

[Eminem - Verse 3]
Now I know we said things, did things, that we didn't mean
And we fall back into the same patterns, same routine
But your temper's just as bad as mine is, you're the same as me
When it comes to love you're just as blinded
Baby please come back, it wasn't you, baby it was me
Maybe our relationship isn't as crazy as it seems
Maybe that's what happens when a tornado meets a volcano
All I know is I love you too much to walk away though
Come inside, pick up the bags off the sidewalk
Don't you hear sincerity in my voice when I talk?
Told you this is my fault, look me in the eyeball
Next time I'm pissed I'll aim my fist at the drywall
Next time there won't be no next time
I apologize even though I know it's lies
I'm tired of the games I just want her back
I know I'm a liar if she ever tries to fuckin' leave again
I'ma tie her to the bed and set this house on fire
Just gonna

Informal Meeting With Game Studio 4th November

One of the textures from the Resurrection Series

As I posted about a month ago, I was contacted by a major UK game studio with a view to arranging a retainer contract for TRU Textures Ltd to offer texture creation services to several incubator studios they were setting up.
In addition, they want to chat about helping us to generate more revenue and possibly invest directly in TRU Textures Ltd.

A meeting has been arranged for an informal lunch on the 4th Nov with myself and Dave and Tony (from the studio) in Manchester at 12 noon.

Potentially this could be very good for me and may offer at least in part, some financial security.  I am really flattered they contacted me, really.

At this stage, I am not really sure what the actual plans are and I guess that's what the meetings about, to find out what we do and where and how we do it then see how they can work "into" that to help and develop TRU Textures Ltd.

Ideally, I want to combine the two sites, iSourceTextures and TRU Textures Ltd one day.

Of the sales we have had at those we know the identities of have been members of, commercial texture artists or builders who make their own textures for example, so it makes sense to me at least, if we link the two sites and offer two very different products to the same market.

I haven't spoken to Martin (partner of iSourceTextures) yet and I wonder if he may feel like I would be taking over the site in a way by officially and publicly declaring it as a TRU associated company.
I need to chat with him on the subject when we get chance but it just makes sense from on so many levels. One of our biggest purchases was from a new TRU customer who asked me where I sourced my photo stock from as she had been having problems with finding licensed stock online.
When I sent her the link to iSource, she made a surprisingly large purchase of close to 200 textures.

My only real concern with the possibility of going on a retainer contract is time restrictions and obligations.
I am already so very far behind on my Game Art & Animation course as it is,  because of 3 months of relentless viruses and colds and the demands of maintaining an existing income in this recession. I already feel so stretched.
How can I fit X number of hours a week in to my life to make textures for game studios, catch up with my training and keep my head above water with TRU (?)

If I hadn't been so poorly lately I don't things would have gotten so bad but I was ill on my holiday in Scotland, then had 3 weeks were I was OK and managed to make 5 volumes of the Resurrection series (which have so far proved to be popular both in and out of Second Life)
Then 2 weeks ago I came down with yet another cold and that's been all over the place from being in bed to feeling "OK" now and again.

It used to be very easy when I had one market (Second Life) and people weren't afraid to spend a dollar. (Post 2008)
Now, competition is aggressive and the whole merchant environment in Second Life is very "cut throat" as more people reduce spending in SL and perhaps instead start to try to generate some money with the worry of the current RL economy or just to pay for their land fees instead of it coming out of their bank accounts.
This causes a massive imbalance in the market of supply and demand.

Textures are materials or "supplies" for builders and commercial/personal content creators in Second Life and in a way it mirrors the real life building industry in this historical recession.

Because mortgage lenders have become "cautious" it's made it almost impossible for a large % of people to be able to buy a new home and as such the demand for new houses being built has decreased.
The real estate and building industry in the UK has been effected badly and my partner, who works in the building industry can testify to this. He has had to re-apply for his own job twice already and the atmosphere is tense and bitter as work associates back stab and grovel for recognition just to keep their jobs.

Within Second Life in order to build, develop, create content or run a business, ideally you need to own or rent land from either the owners of Second Life, Linden Labs or from landlords who make a % of profit and in this economy that isn't cheap.
The island I run TRU Textures on costs me $380.00 a month including the VAT and I am lucky SL still provides me with a good income that covers that outlay.

Some people have not been so lucky, many people have given up their islands and land because they can no longer cover their business overheads as a result of diminished sales or simply cannot justify hundreds of dollars each month just for a creative hobby.

So no land equals no where to build and create content which then equals less demand for textures.

I suspect fashion and avatar accessories are doing fairly well despite the economic climate because although the amount of SLers who own land has been reduced, the people still log in and "hang out" and looking good will always be in demand.

But again, were once your casual SL resident may have just seen and used SL as a social outlet, many are now turning their hand to commercial content creation, creating clothes, buying full perm merchants kits and flooding the market with clothes, shoes and accessories often engaging in price wars to get an edge over the massive and saturated competition.

It's "dog eat dog" in Second Life, just as it is in real life and you have to be always one step ahead of your immediate competition to keep afloat. This is what is so very time consuming.
It's now a "rare treat" to be able to "create" as most of my time spent in marketing and admin.

Because I needed to diversify and not depend solely on sales from Second Life,  each time I make a collection of textures I currently have 3 platforms/websites to upload to and each one has different marketing campaigns to best represent each product.
Sometimes the texture format needs to be changed from TGA to PNG and the real kicker is when I have to create alpha maps for the textures with partial transparency.

Right now, iSourceTextures does not support anything other than JPG and in hindsight, we should designed it to allow the upload of PNG, TGA, TIFF and PSDs not to mention zip files so we can offer collections instead of single downloads.
But this was an oversight at the time of development and every change costs us a few hundred pounds which we have had to draw a line in the sand.

So for that particular platform, I have to create alpha maps and it takes ages.

But these are the things I need to consider if I happen to be offered a retainer to work X number of hours a week creating textures for games studios.
Unless the retainer fee equaled or exceeded my current income from the direct sales of my textures, I will be torn between three obligations (no, four if you include the diploma course) and treat each one equally but all for different reasons.

In an ideal world,  I would be offered a retainer to match my current income and then I could devote 100% of my time to it and let TRU be managed by Elizabeth Tinsley which will be hard for me.
Letting go of the reins has proved very difficult in the past.
I can't help but log in and just see whats going on and if I spot something that needs attention, I see that as an indication I do indeed need to be there.

I trust Beth, she's been TRUs manager for 4 years now but I still believe in the saying "No one will run your business as good as you" Because it's your business.

So yes, I have some serious thinking to do depending on the outcome of the first meeting.

As it stands I am still suffering from a bloody awful cold/flu type virus and probably because I am over worked, stressed and run down. (I know, poor me, Boo Hoo!)

I am not implying I am "hard done to"
I am always aware of how lucky I am to still be making a living from something I love whilst so many people I know aren't able to anymore.

I think I really need to leave TRU alone for a while and stop trying to control things I can't control, like public spending. I need to focus on my diploma course for a good 2 weeks to catch up.

But, old habits die hard and my habits for 6 years have been to "check in" when I awake.
Coffee, cigarette and log in,  then before I know it 7 hours have passed, my partner is home from work and its dinner time.

My creative mood tends to be 9pm onwards so that's when I usually crank Photoshop open..and then another 5 hours has passed and I fall into bed.
I need to really change my habits and quick.

Linus Humphreys Textures - From iSourceTextures to Second Life

Little Edinburgh Texture Set - Rendered in Second Life.
I took some photos almost 2 years ago on a visit to Manchester city one late Autumn Sunday and they can be found on our texture stock website,

I have played with photos taken by other people like those from and played with my own photos of course,  but I have never seen how another artist would use my own photos.

Linus Humphreys (SL name) is in my opinion one of Second Lifes better commercial texture artists so it was a real honour and pleasure to see what he had done with my photos.

Little Edinburgh Texture Set - Rendered in Second Life.

Below are the thumbnails of the original unedited versions.

Cyber Stalking Cyber Bullying Blackmail

How ever an organized harasser or stalker justifies his or her actions, if you experience more than 3 of the types of incidents below, the chances are you are a victim of illegal harassment and stalking and should not continue to "suffer in silence"

1) Someone has made threats to:

a) Sue if you don't pay X amount of money.
b) Begin legal proceedings against you if you don't pay X amount of money.
c) Get you arrested and imprisoned if you don't pay X amount of money.
d) Have your children put into care (because you will be in prison) if you don't pay X amount of money.
e) Take your life savings after a lawsuit they will file against you if you don't pay X amount of money.
f) Get you banned from a forum or online community you are part of if you don't pay X amount of money.
g) Publish humiliating statements about you in a public forum or blog or "go viral" if you don't pay X amount of money.

2. Spread lies and rumors. (more serious if those lies and rumors effect your business and related income)
3. Contact your work associates and/or customers via phone calls, emails, instant messages ( or any other form of communication) to "warn them" about what a liar, thief, rapist, woman hater etc
4. Contact you via email, telephone or persistent IMs despite your request not to be contacted again unless by a lawyer.
5) Troll your every forum post always derailing it to publicly humiliate you.

Do not fall into the trap of thinking:
"It's only Second Life who will take me seriously?"
"But I do deserve it, kinda"

Or the most common one:
"If I just stay quiet and keep out of public forums they will leave me alone.... eventually"

This may be true for your average forum troll but if your stalker has a financial incentive to ruin your name and business then maybe not.
The same goes for romantic deluded stalkers, the more your say "no" the more they want you.

No one has the right legally or morally to do more than 3 of the above for months or years regardless of their justifications and  "acting on behalf of public interest" can only be used once.

If the attacks are related to your work, business, online or not, this makes the crime much more serious.
If you can prove emotional and/or financial damage you have a valid case at least to present to a lawyer.

Have or did your sales decreased or diminished? and does the time frame of loss of income coincide with the beginning of the harassment and public humiliation by the stalker?

Have you been to see a doctor, counselor and/or been prescribed anti depressants, beta blockers or other prescription medication to treat symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks or depression "during" the time frame of stalking and harassment?

Did you report the incident to the police or the owners/moderators of website or forum?

Did you have to change your telephone number because your harasser made uninvited, unwelcome or repeated phone calls? Or email or actual physical address?

These are powerful evidential facts that may be taken into consideration in a court of law and regardless of what ever your harassers justifications are, no one deserves weeks, months or in some cases years of constant and unrelenting mental and emotional torture.

Equally important is not responding to or enticing/ provoking further attacks.
If someone attacks you in a forum or publishes a post about you or your business on the internet and does so by your name or in a manner that clearly identifies you or your business  the last thing you should do is respond or get involved in a "tit for tat" war, no matter how tempting that may seem in the heat of the moment.

You loose the moral high ground if you lower yourself to their level and perhaps more importantly you loose any chance of legal support too.

Someone responding in anger to a comment you left in a forum does not constitute "harassment"
Please see the links below to help you decide whether you are being harassed.

If you truly believe you are, here's a few tips that may help in at least gaining some sense of control back.

As soon as you can, keep records of all forums posts by the stalker both those directed to you and those written "about" you.  The same goes for emails to and about you.

Instant messages and other forms of electronic communication; Ask for copies of chat logs, private messages and emails sent to other people containing untruths and lies about you.

Important. Make sure you get the persons permission to use these copies as evidence in a court of law.
Without that permission, they are useless and in fact you may be breaching a forum, blog site or online worlds TOS which will go against you in court. Permission, by email from the person must be obtained and when possible ask for their real names too.

Phone calls? Most answer phones have the ability to record a call, use it.
Do be careful not to "lead" the conversation as that may be seen as enticement/entrapment in a court of law. Let them lead the conversation.

If you know of anyone else who has also been the subject of similar activities by the same stalker, it may be prudent to share your experiences and discuss the possibility to group together to put a stop and clear your name and reputation.

If this is the road you all decide to go down be warned,  just because they "say" they have experienced something doesn't make it true.
You need to see hard evidence before you agree to group together.
One person's exaggeration or lie could ruin your own case which may be legitimate.

The text below can be found here: Definition of Cyber Stalking and Harassment

One way to define it is to see how the Law defines it (check out our legal discussion of cyberstalking laws and offline stalking laws). We would like to begin, however, by defining "Cyberstalking" from the point of view of the target's (victim's) experience.

When identifying cyberstalking "in the field" , particularly when considering whether to report it to any kind of legal authority, the following features or combinations of features can be considered to characterize a true stalking situation:

Malice means: the desire and intention to terrorize and hurt you. Much cyberstalking is malicious in nature. Malice is usually indicated by the presence and communication of clear and direct threats made against you by the harasser.
Not all cyberstalking however is malicious. In cases of "love obsession" cyberstalking for example, the stalker has no visible intent to harm you, and while their behavior may cause you great distress, they do not necessarily realize that they are doing so, since they are often lost in a fantasy world where they believe you are secretly in love with them.
Other forms of online harassment are also not necessarily malicious. Some online harassment takes the forms of practical jokes at your expense, and while this may be unpleasant and cause you great inconvenience, annoyance, fear or distress, the harasser may not have intended to cause you harm.

Premeditation means: the presence of planning and organization.
Not all harassment is premeditated. Some may be the result of a sudden emotional outburst, where someone loses their temper with you and lashes out at you electronically. This may indeed cause you distress but could not be called premeditated, since the attack was sudden and not planned.
Some kinds of harassment can be set in motion instantly and without preparation. Others take time to prepare. Some require the setting up and use of special hostile computer attack programs. Others may require extensive research into your personal information on the Internet. The nature of the harassment you are experiencing will often tell you if you are dealing with a premeditated attack or an unplanned passionate outburst.
Repetition means: the harassment is not just a single isolated incident.
Repetition is a key feature of online stalking. A one off attack online, while it may cause you distress, could not be described as cyberstalking. Cyberstalking is a course of conduct that takes place over a period of time and involves repeated attempts to cause you distress. Some laws even define it as involving two or more incidents and following a repetitive pattern.

Distress means: the activity causes fear and distress to you the target.
You could not claim cyberstalking or even online harassment if you do not feel distressed in some way. Distress can take many forms, from annoyance, offense, inconvenience and humiliation to worry and fear for your safety. The presence of fear is an important of characteristic cyberstalking.
You also need to be careful that you are yourself not overreacting. In legal terms, stalking is usually defined as a course of conduct that causes a "reasonable person" to be in distress. You may react in a paranoid or hysterical way to something that is said or done online, but you can not claim cyberstalking unless you can also show that your reaction is "reasonable", i.e., that any other reasonable person would react in the same way.
To show a court that you suffered distress as a result of online stalking you really need the testimony of expert witnesses - these could be your doctor or counselor who you went to for help or medication concerning the incident. If you don't go for medical help regarding your distress then expect the stalkers lawyer to suggest to the court that you were not really that distressed at all.

Obsession means: the stalker cannot stop, despite warnings.
To establish this behavior you would need to have given a very clear warning to the harasser to leave you alone. Obsessive behavior is common both in hate vendettas against you and also in what is known as "love obsession" stalking, where the stalker believes themselves to be in love with their target. For love obsession stalkers your "NO" means "YES".
It is a common occurrence for stalkers to violate restraining orders and probation, or even lose their jobs, to continue stalking the object of their obsession.

Vendetta means: the stalker seeks revenge against you.
Hate vendettas are a common cause of harassment online. Stalkers and harassers often convince themselves that you have deserved their hostile attention and that they are in the right. They often persuade themselves that you have committed a great wrong and that they are in the position of avenger, punishing you for your crimes. Revenge may be sought for no reasonable offense at all.

No Legitimate Purpose
No legitimate purpose means: the harassment has no valid purpose, other than to terrorize you and cause you distress.
Some stalkers persuade themselves that they have just cause to harass you, usually on the grounds that you deserve to be punished for some wrong they claim you have committed. Other stalkers have no announced purpose other than to make you suffer. In either case the stalking serves no legitimate purpose.
If however you started the problem by attacking someone else online, and now they are after you for revenge, then your original and unprovoked attack could be used in court to show that the stalker had a legitimate purpose in harassing you.

Stalking on or offline involves "harassment". We can summarize "harassment" by quoting from two US State Statutes - one from California and one from Michigan:
California defines Harassment as: ...a knowing and willful course of conduct directed at a specific person that seriously alarms, annoys, torments, or terrorizes the person, and that serves no legitimate purpose. This course of conduct must be such as would cause a reasonable person to suffer substantial emotional distress, and must actually cause substantial emotional distress to the person.
While Michigan defines Harassment as: ...conduct directed toward a victim that includes, but is not limited to, repeated or continuing unconsented contact, that would cause a reasonable individual to suffer emotional distress, and that actually causes the victim to suffer emotional distress.

A threat means: a statement of intent made in order to place a person in reasonable fear for his or her physical safety. Most of the online stalking cases we have dealt with involve threats made against the target.
Some laws refer to "credible threats" - meaning that the threat must be one that the target believes the stalker to be capable of carrying out.

The Resurrection Texture Collections - TRU Textures

Resurrection Texture Collection Volume Two
I was contacted by a customer over a very old collection I made 3+ years ago called Black Gothic I couldn't "put texture to name" so I asked her to send me the folder.

I recognised them obviously and to be honest I don't know what happened to the first set. It still had some life in it albeit a little dated in technique but for some reason it had got lost in the system and no one noticed.

So anyway, I decided to remake it as she wanted some matching interior textures and this is the result.

I'm quite pleased with how they came out, a little simple compared to my normal style but sometimes "less is more" and personally I don't like these "Googled Gothic" sets made up from bits and pieces of furniture and fire surrounds or metallic candle sticks, it's soooo 2007! lol

I don't know why but I am having problems displaying new sets I have made on the SL New Market Place. I have around 7 new sets that for some reason or another simply will not display in my inventory on the new MP at all.

I've put a support ticket in with Linden Labs (Not holding my breath then!) but for now you can buy them from and direct from the in world TRU main store or give it a week or two and they will be available on the TRU website under 3D Build New Arrivals.

Just a reminder that you can buy these and other collections from the TRU website for use in other grids and virtual worlds under the "Any World" License.

In addition to PayPal we're working on adding the option to pay by Linden Dollars too.

Eurogamer Expo 2010 Montage

Sheesh, I missed this one but it looks so cool! I've never been to one before. Its in London I'm from "up North" nuff said!

BUT if things go according to plan, I will be waving the TRU flag there in 2011! Me and Martin, (Koba Ajax from SL) my partner from

I thought it would be all "suit n tie" attire but seems I can dress casual.. THANK GOD! Last thing I want is to look like some middle aged school teacher....So mutton dressed as lamb it is then!

Smells like teen spirit.. ack.. kids!

I got a "nudge" on my mobile phone from Train2Game pointing out that I hadn't handed in a tutor marked assessment in for a while and that's true, I haven't.

It's so hard in this economy to keep a business profitable, keep your stock fresh and up to standard and expectations of the market but with the changes on the TRU website, the never ending nightmare of Xstreet to new market place merge (I've lost 40 hours already only to later discover the updates for the 240 products listed had been wiped clean, meaning I have to redo them all again) and either three viral bugs or the same virus coming and going, I have been running around like a headless chicken.

Always driven by creation (as that's my passion) I find these days its 60% administration and 30% creation and 10% tearing your hair out!

So anyway, I went back to my course, which means I have to run 3DMax on a windows OS which I have to run an iMac bootcamp partition and that alone makes things painful and slow.

Anyway, I cranked 3DMax open again and I am plodding on, I ain't making history here but here's the progress of a lounge scene I have been playing with and unlike earlier efforts this one includes materials and texture maps applied to the assets.

Please do not contact me for contractual work, I'm too busy! lol (Yes, I am being sarcastic)

Notice the size of the mugs are tiny compared to the sofa? lol

I love the Mental Ray rendering on reflective surfaces.

There's no way I could package this lot up for sale. For one, the program is for students only and secondly, its crap. lol

It's purely a scene, the models would be all disproportionate with cushions different sizes to the others but I have learned the material editor and how to apply different templates for different surfaces.

An example of this would be the brick wall. The default Arch & Design template has a reflective surface so I applied a matte template and the bit map brick after, adjusted the tile repeats and so on.

Coming from 2D in Photoshop to 3D in 3DMax I imagine is a little a blind person who has lived in their apartment for years and they know how many steps it takes to get to the bathroom, which side the light switch is on and where the soap dispenser is.
Then waking up in someone else's apartment and you have no idea where the bathroom is much less the light and soap. (Purely metaphorically speaking of course)

It's just weird but at the same time certain elements seem familiar and obvious.

The material editor, to me at least, is a little like Photoshop. Being a texture artist means I am attracted to colour and patterns over shapes alone.

What I have discovered is there are default things like windows, steps etc and with a few tweaks you have a finished model ready to export as a sculpt map for SL consumers.

I don't mean to be cynical but I recognise a lot of sculpted shapes and objects on Xstreet as 3DMax's default presets.

Very Old Medieval Cottage Textures -

I found this place by chance, I was looking in the profile picks of a customer and recognised the textures as some very old ones I made over 3 years ago.

It's not often I see my textures used in such a fantastic way, the builder Corentin Enoch, the owner of Mor Breiz (Corentin Enoch, Mor Breiz - French gor sim, Naias) really brought them to life and it looks like he may have edited a few too.

I think the collection was called "Dingy Medieval" something or other or "Mossy Medieval" I probably spelled them "medevil" knowing me.

My education, or lack there of, really shines through in the typos and terrible spelling mistakes of my early Second Life years, I cringe when I see the names of old textures.

I know I used to name "Siding" - "Sliding" lol I didn't have a clue what siding was when people asked for it. In the UK it's known as "Tongue and Groove" ... I think (?)

Defamation - TRU Textures Sued (?)

Following advise from my solicitor I wish to put the record straight over multiple publications  found on blogs, forums and from chat logs from within the virtual world of

I will not be engaging in public debate over these statements (also as advised by my lawyer) but feel due to the seriousness of these allegations it is important that I attempt to put the record straight to at least address the imbalance and gain some perspective.

1) I have never been sued or officially threatened to be sued for anything in my life much less copyright or DMCA issues.

2) I have never received a Cease and Desist demand in letter, email or indeed any other type of communication.

3) I have not received any form of official communication informing me of a pending lawsuit.

4)  I have not received any form of communication from any lawyer or representative of the law in relation to copyright issues at all other than 2 emails as detailed below.

5) I have not been contacted (by any form of communication) to discuss or negotiate "Out of court settlement"
Furthermore, I have not agreed to or paid any sum of money in relation to an "Out of court settlement"

6) I have not received any form of communication from any lawyer (or representative of the law) other than 2 emails regarding two DMCA counter notices filed.

Whilst I do not feel it is anyone's business normally, due to the absurd allegations published I feel I must correct the apparent rumor in relation to my income.

7) I have never come anywhere even close to making $30,000 a month as published by one source.
This is almost laughable if not for the association of the claim.
No one would have access to that kind of information except in a court of law.

If you read, hear or see claims of this nature I ask you to refer them to this post and ask for factual evidence.

I hereby grant permission to allow any person  (or legal representatives acting on behalf of any person) to publish in public, all and any legal and official forms of communication allegedly sent to and from me (Elizabeth Gallagher) in relation to the above statements.

Defamation is illegal and "two wrongs don't make a right" as my Mother used to say.

TRU Website - Launches "Any World" Licensing.

It's long overdue, this post I mean. I have after all, been banging on and on about it for what seems like forever, so now 3 weeks after the event, here it is.

The TRU Textures website is now officially open for business to the "outside" market.
By outside I mean of course,  people who may want to use textures for things other than

Perhaps other grids and 3D environments like IMVU, Twinity, Inworldz and the other 100 or so grids, virtual worlds and 3D chat environments.

In the three weeks we have been trading we have had encouraging response and sales.
This is very exciting and encouraging to me as I didn't expect much if anything at all really.

Most of the artists with TRU are selling their textures under the external licenses but not all and again, their decision is respected.
